Job summary

U-Haul in Rock Island, IL seeks a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You’ll assist customers in person, use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, and help inspect and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
