Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a supportive team and be the face of our exceptional service. You will help customers, manage rentals with U-Scan, and assist with moving and inspecting equipment on-site at our Newark, OH location.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. Duties involve lifting gear, operating equipment, and continuous learning through U-Haul University.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team.
• Comfortable working around moving equipment and in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and educate customers about services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring and fill propane when certified.
