Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be the face of our service, helping customers with rentals, equipment inspections, and product knowledge. You will use U-Scan on a smartphone to dispatch and return equipment while assisting in truck and trailer hookups and safety checks.

The role emphasizes strong communication, physical readiness, and a teamwork mindset, with on-the-job education and opportunities for advancement. Training and certifications are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and answer questions.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Forklift duties may be required (certification offered).
