Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Hattiesburg, MS. You will be the face of the company, assisting customers with rentals and equipment, using U-Scan tech to dispatch and track inventory, and helping customers understand products and services.

This role offers on-the-job education and opportunities to grow within the organization. Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining equipment, moving trucks and trailers, and providing excellent service at the point of contact.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service orientation and ability to help customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluids check.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
