Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service and assist customers with rentals, equipment inspection, and hitching/trailer wiring. You will use U-Scan tech to manage rentals and inventory, move and hook up trucks and trailers, and ensure equipment is safe for customers.

The role offers on-the-job education, a fast-paced environment, and opportunities for growth within U-Haul.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers on products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and return equipment after use.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring as needed.
• Fill propane and operate a forklift (certifications offered during employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education via U-Haul University.
