Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. seeks a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of its exceptional service, assisting customers and ensuring access to help on their journeys.

The role includes inspecting and maintaining equipment, using U-Scan tech to manage rentals, and educating customers about products and services. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or aptitude is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring and fill propane (certification offered).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
