Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service and help customers on their journeys. You will work with a supportive team, inspecting and maintaining equipment and using U-Scan technology to dispatch and return rentals.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, basic safety, and participation in ongoing U-Haul education. On-the-job education is offered with opportunities for advancement and a variety of benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service orientation and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers; inspect and maintain equipment.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
