Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers, manage rentals with mobile tech, and help move and hook up trucks and trailers. The role includes inspecting equipment, educating customers, and processing invoices.

Certification for propane filling and forklift operation is offered after employment, with on-the-job education and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; willingness to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluids.
• Explain products, services, and policies to customers.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill offered upon employment.
• Operate a forklift; certification offered on employment.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
