Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our services, assisting customers and ensuring equipment is ready and safe for use. You’ll use state-of-the-art dispatch tech to manage rentals and inventory, while supporting customers in-person and online.

The role includes training through U-Haul University, certification opportunities for propane and forklift operations, and a path for advancement within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Suitable for customer-facing roles with strong communication skills.
• Ability to learn and use new dispatch technology to manage equipment.”

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
