Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a Customer Service Representative to serve customers at our location. You will assist customers with U-Haul products and services, manage rentals with U-Scan technology, and help move and hook up trucks and trailers. The role includes verifying equipment, answering questions, and processing invoices.

Certification for propane and forklift operation is provided after employment. This position emphasizes on-site service, safety, and ongoing training through U-Haul University.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside U-Haul centers with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan tech to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot, checking fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring (certification offered upon employment).
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Operate a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Participate in continuous U-Haul education via U-Haul University.
