Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of its service team, assisting customers in person and using on-site technology to manage rentals and equipment.

The role involves inspecting and maintaining gear, answering questions, preparing invoices, and educating customers about products and services. A $100 hiring bonus and a $300 completion bonus are offered, with on‑the‑job training available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns of equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring (certification offered on employment).
• Fill propane (certification offered on employment)
• Drive a forklift (certification offered on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
