Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Salisbury, MD to be the friendly face assisting customers with rentals, equipment inspection, and inquiries. You will use smartphone-based U-Scan tech to manage rentals and inventory, dispatch equipment, and help customers on their journeys.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Educate customers regarding products and services and answer questions.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and forklift operation (certifications offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
