Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative in Laurel, Maryland. You will be the face of our service, helping customers, inspecting equipment, and using U-Scan to manage rentals and inventory. On-the-job education and paid interviews are provided.

Position pays $15.00–$16.00 per hour with opportunities for advancement and a range of benefits including health plans, paid holidays, vacation, sick days, 401(k), ESOP, and discounts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers; inspect equipment and fuel levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; assist with propane and forklift training.
