Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service and assist customers on their journeys by inspecting and maintaining equipment. You will use up-to-date technology to dispatch and return equipment and contribute to a helpful, fast-moving team.

We offer on-the-job education, a strong pay culture, and bonus opportunities, including a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 certification-related bonus at store level upon completion of the program.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing skills and ability to assist customers
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
• Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot and check fluid levels
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; fill propane and forklift duties (certifications offered upon employment)
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University
