Job summary

Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office, plus strong written and verbal communication, are essential. High school education or equivalent is required, along with a reliable, self-motivated attitude and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Good, tactful communications skills - verbal and written.
• Self-motivated and positive attitude.
• Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
• Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, faxes and emails pertaining to customer questions.
• Take pickup requests.
• Enter rate requests on behalf of customers.
• Investigate all overages, shortages and damages to determine the cause and responsibility so that future occurrences may be prevented.
• Reimburse customers for damage to or loss of freight through claim process.
• Perform other work related duties as requested.
