The Kroger Family of Companies is hiring for an on-site Customer Service Desk role at 400 Aetna St, Martins Ferry, OH 43935. Assist customers, process sales, and operate the register while delivering friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include handling refunds and exchanges, issuing money orders, answering phones, and maintaining desk areas, all while upholding company policies. HS diploma and 6 months cashier experience required; weekends and overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Six months cashier experience for Customer Service Desk.
• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in some states for tobacco).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work weekends, shifts, and overtime as needed.
• Related retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales.
• Operate cashier functions, open/close register, process tender transactions.
• Provide refunds, exchanges, money orders, and gift cards.
• Answer telephones and maintain desk and checkstand areas.
• Promote and follow company initiatives and policies.
• Verify EAS tags are deactivated or removed at point of sale.
