Job summary

The Kroger Springboro store is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers and process sales. You will provide friendly cashier service, handle register transactions, and maintain a clean checkout area.

Responsibilities include assisting at the Customer Service Desk, processing refunds and exchanges, and supporting price checks and policy adherence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months cashier experience for Customer Service Desk.
• Must be 18+ (19+ in certain locations when selling tobacco).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and weekends.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales at the checkout.
• Perform cashier functions: open/close register, ring sales, tender transactions, bag items.
• Maintain price discrepancy logs and ensure proper pricing.
• Keep the checkstand area clean and organized.
• Answer telephones and provide prompt service.
• Support store initiatives and comply with corporate policies.
