Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Dilworth, Minnesota is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, merchandising, and front-end duties as needed. You’ll help with receiving merchandise, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining a welcoming environment for customers and teammates.

This role emphasizes customer service, communication, and problem-solving, with cross-training to operate the cash register and perform basic cash accounting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
• High level of integrity is required
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely
• Merchandising and stocking as needed
• Cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, ensuring neat areas
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff
• Managing sales transactions while working the assigned cash register
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets
• Other duties as assigned
