Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Tupelo, MS to welcome customers and help them find the right home improvement products while delivering friendly, professional service throughout the shift. You may work across departments, including Appliances, Hardware, Flooring, and more, with opportunities to assist at checkout and load merchandise.

The role values basic computer skills and comfort with retail tech; bilingual abilities or trade certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (input, access, modify, output information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock and replenish shelves as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time receipt.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to improve service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
