Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Columbus, MS. You will greet customers, help them find the right home improvement products, and ensure their shopping experience is smooth and friendly.

Responsibilities include assisting with locating merchandise, loading items when needed, handling checkout processes, and staying adaptable across departments to deliver excellent service. Strong computer and mobile device familiarity, good communication, and the ability to stand for long periods

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting information
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned
