Job summary

Lowe’s Customer Service Associate position supports customers with home improvement needs and product selection in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist customers, locate items, stock shelves, and ensure orders and deliveries are accurate and on time.

Responsibilities include rotating through departments as needed, helping to prepare merchandise, and guiding customers through checkout while delivering friendly, professional service to build loyalty and meet store goals.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and inputting/modifying information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform job duties.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs, with heavier lifts possible with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for timely customer receipt.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support customer service goals.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (paint tinting, pipe work, wood cutting, etc.).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout and assist as needed.
