Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right home improvement solutions. You will interact with customers, locate products, and assist with merchandise throughout the store in a fast-paced environment.

Daily duties include answering questions, processing orders and deliveries, stocking shelves, and supporting other departments as needed. A flexible, people-focused approach helps you excel in this role at Lowe's.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology.
• Reading, writing and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform duties.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
