Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance throughout the store. You will engage with shoppers, support merchandise organization, and ensure customer needs are met in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role includes learning multiple departments and may involve stocking, processing orders, and occasional checkout support. Prior retail experience is a plus in a diverse, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic
• Able to perform duties requiring standing/sitting for long periods
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to improve service quality
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut pipe, bundle wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
