We are currently seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team in Wichita, Kansas (US-KS), United States (US).

This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.

Pay for this role is $15.50/hr

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in an office environment
  • 1 year experience using a computer with Microsoft Windows PC applications
  • 6 months of work-from-home environment
  • High school diploma or GED (Preferences)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line phone customer service to policyholders, beneficiaries, agents, and internal customers, handling inquiries about payments, policies, or claims.
  • Work in a designated quiet area to complete calls while working from home.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and strive to meet service standards.
  • Handle between 75 to 100 calls daily.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers to resolve questions and issues.
  • Develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of the insurance industry, products, services, and processes.
  • Collaborate with management or team members to proactively address service issues.
  • Have 6+ months of experience requiring attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Possess 6+ months of experience in effective oral and written communication in a professional setting.

Additional Requirements:

  • Have a working device (cell phone or tablet) for 2-Factor Authentication.
  • Successfully complete our Call Center training classes and demonstrate proficiency.
  • Pass a drug screen and background check, including education and employment verification.
  • Availability for schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm CT, and rotating Saturday mornings 8:00 am - 12:00 pm CT.
