Ohio State Highway Patrol, part of the State of Ohio's Public Safety organization, is hiring a Customer Service Assistant 2 to support video redaction tasks at 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus. The role focuses on researching video files, redacting sensitive information, and coordinating with the ODPS Legal Office, with a 7:00am to 3:30pm schedule.

This permanent, full-time position offers on-site work with benefits and opportunities for growth.

What You'll Do as a Customer Service Assistant 2

• Research &/or search for video files.
• Utilize specialized software &/or computer equipment to redact personal &/or other confidential information within audio &/or video recordings.
• Work directly with Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) Legal Office on questions related to redactions.
• Categorize, organize & classify files that are received, processed & released.
• Track, manage, & update database &/or tracking sheets.
• Provide updates on progress &/or completion of projects to Central Records staff.

Background Check Information

• A BCI and FBI fingerprint check, a background check, including a polygraph examination, may be required on all selected applicants.
• A comparative analysis and/or drug-test may be a requirement of the hiring process.
