Job summary

Ohio State Highway Patrol, part of the State of Ohio's Public Safety organization, is hiring a Customer Service Assistant 2 to support video redaction tasks at 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus. The role focuses on researching video files, redacting sensitive information, and coordinating with the ODPS Legal Office, with a 7:00am to 3:30pm schedule.

This permanent, full-time position offers on-site work with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in office practices & procedures
AND 9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in public relations or customer service that included techniques for handling difficult people
AND 9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in typing, keyboarding, data entry or word processing
AND 9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in operation of personal computer.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Qualifications for Employment noted above.

Responsibilities

Research / search for video files.
Utilize specialized software / equipment to redact personal / confidential information within audio / video recordings.
Work with ODPS Legal Office on redaction questions.
Categorize, organize & classify files received, processed & released.
Track, manage & update database / tracking sheets.
Provide updates on progress / completion to Central Records staff.
