Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is seeking a Customer Service Agent in Idaho Falls to provide frontline service for our passengers. You will greet travelers, issue tickets, assign seats, check luggage, board flights, rebook passengers, and assist customers with special needs.

The role involves clear communication with ground crews and flight teams, managing disruptions, and maintaining a friendly, efficient passenger experience. Flexible shifts and both part-time and full-time options may be available.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid, unrestricted state driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Lift 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.
• Flexible schedule including split shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Part-time and full-time positions may be available.
• Salary $14.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Greet passengers and issue tickets, provide seat assignments and check baggage.
• Board flights and rebook passengers, assisting customers with luggage issues.
• Assist special-needs passengers and resolve customer complaints.
• Communicate clearly with ground personnel and flight crews.
• Calmly handle cancelled and delayed flights.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary Job Duties

As a Customer Service Agent, you will provide excellent front-line service to our passengers.

• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
• Assist special-needs passengers and resolve customer complaints
• Communicate clearly with ground personnel and flight crews
• Calmly handle situations such as canceled and delayed flights
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

We are looking for individuals with a passion for customer service, especially within the airline industry! SkyWest Customer Service Agents come from a wide range of backgrounds, education, interests, and experience. To apply, you only have to meet the following criteria:

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Part-time and full-time positions may be available
• $14.50 per hour
