Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is looking for a Customer Service Agent to provide excellent front-line service to passengers. This role involves greeting travelers, issuing tickets, assigning seats, checking baggage, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, and rebooking when necessary.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with a valid license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid, unrestricted state driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
• Lift 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.
• Flexible schedule including split shifts (mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Greet passengers, issue tickets, assign seats, check baggage, board flights, assist passengers with missing luggage, and rebook passengers promptly and courteously.
• Assist passengers with special needs and resolve complaints.
• Communicate clearly with ground personnel and flight crews.
• Handle cancelled and delayed flights calmly.
• Other duties as assigned by SkyWest.

Primary Job Duties

As a Customer Service Agent, you will provide excellent front-line service to our passengers.

• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
• Assist special-needs passengers and resolve customer complaints
• Communicate clearly with ground personnel and flight crews
• Calmly handle situations such as canceled and delayed flights
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

We are looking for individuals with a passion for customer service, especially within the airline industry! SkyWest Customer Service Agents come from a wide range of backgrounds, education, interests, and experience. To apply, you only have to meet the following criteria:

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen

• This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Part-time and full-time positions may be available
• $14.50 per hour
