Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is seeking an airport agent in Dodge City for ongoing part-time shifts. You will handle ticketing, boarding, baggage, rebooking, and passenger assistance while working outdoors in all weather. The role requires mobility, reliability, and teamwork to deliver excellent customer service.

Minimum requirements include 18+, valid driver's license, HS diploma or GED, and ability to lift 50 lbs. The position pays $14.50 per hour with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Part-time position.
• Pay rate of $14.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft.
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, rebook passengers.
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously.
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Service aircraft as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary Job Duties

Airport agents are primarily responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and more.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft


• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner


• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously


• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area


• This position requires you to work outside in all weather conditions


• Service aircraft as needed


• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• 18 years of age or older


• Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license


• Have a High School Diploma or GED


• Pass a background check and drug screening


• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship


• Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing


• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation


• Adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management skills


• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills


• This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays


• This is a part-time position
