JACO Rehab in Hawaii offers one-on-one physical therapy and related services across four locations. We are seeking a friendly Customer Service Assistant to support our clinic in a hybrid work model and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

The role focuses on front-desk duties, scheduling, data entry, billing support, and patient communications while maintaining accuracy and empathy. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, with reliable internet and a professional home workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in customer service, medical front office, admin support, or virtual assistance.
• Excellent telephone skills and proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional home workspace.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients virtually and provide outstanding customer service.
• Answer phones and manage electronic scheduling.

Customer Service Assistant

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Customer Service Assistant to support our physical therapy clinic in a hybrid work model. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a critical role in delivering an excellent patient experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable being on screen communicating with patients and managing administrative tasks with accuracy and empathy.

Job Description

Job Duties:

• Greet patients virtually while providing outstanding customer service
• Answer phones
• Electronic Scheduling
• Data Entry
• Verify current personal and financial information
• Maintain patient charts and electronic medical records
• Verify insurance benefits
• Charge tickets
• Collecting, posting, and depositing patient payments
• Faxing, filing, and performing any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer service, medical front office, administrative support, or virtual assistance
• Excellent telephone skills
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Previous experience with medical software preferred
• Available and flexible with your hours

Additional Information

Compensation: $20 -23 hourly, depending on experience level
