The role offers autonomy, a base salary of $60,000-$85,000 with uncapped commissions, a hybrid schedule after onboarding with three days per week in the office, and a supportive team environment within an established freight brokerage.
Atlas Global Talent is working with an established freight brokerage in Chicago that is continuing to expand its customer sales operation.
The company already has an established Chicago office with approximately 25 employees across its customer and carrier sales teams, operating through a mixture of onsite and hybrid working.
They are now looking to add experienced Customer Sales Representatives / Account Executives who can take ownership of developing new business and building profitable customer relationships.
This is a role with a good level of autonomy. The business is looking for experienced salespeople who are comfortable managing their own desk, developing their own pipeline and taking responsibility for their results without being heavily micromanaged.
As a Customer Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new shipper relationships and growing a profitable book of business.
You will manage the commercial side of the customer relationship while working closely with the carrier sales and operations teams to ensure freight is covered and customers receive a consistently high level of service.

The first month will be fully onsite in the Chicago office.
This initial period is designed to allow new hires to properly learn the company's systems, workflow, processes and operating model while developing relationships with the existing customer sales, carrier sales and operations teams.
Following successful onboarding, the position moves to a hybrid structure with 3 days per week in the Chicago office.
This isn't a remote sales position. The hybrid structure is designed to offer flexibility while maintaining collaboration with an established Chicago team.
