Job summary

Wurth Industry US in Greenwood, IN seeks a Customer Project Specialist responsible for driving new customer implementations and coordinating existing projects through the sales cycle. You will act as the primary contact for project opportunities and ensure seamless execution from intake to post-implementation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5-10 years of related experience or combination of education and experience.
• SAP/P21 skills are advantageous.
• Must be able to read and analyze customer purchase orders, drawings and vendor-supplied reference material.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as training instructions, shipping tickets, procedure manuals, etc.
• Able to work with mathematical concepts such as graphs, statistics, percentages, and ratios.
• Ability to establish credibility, respect and trust from staff and external business partners.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Working knowledge of other Microsoft Suite products.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities; able to gather virtual, temporary teams to solve time-critical issues, with positive outcomes for the customers as well as for the company.
• Ability to lead, instruct and direct, both cross-functionally (peers in other departments) and within the organization, across multiple geographies.
• Strategic thinker; uses creative and innovative problem solving in many types of diverse situations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong judgement and decision-making skills
• Maintain valid driver's license, clean driving record, and travel.
• Travel as needed (10-15% estimate)

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer implementations and existing customer projects through the sales cycle.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned project opportunities.
• Coordinate between internal departments and external customer stakeholders to ensure profitable sales growth.
• Provide updates on project timelines and milestones to internal and external stakeholders.
• Meet or exceed execution KPIs and adhere to department processes.
