Job summary

Munchkin is seeking a Customer Planning & Business Analytics Manager to lead Walmart omni-channel forecasting, inventory planning, and joint business planning initiatives. You will translate sales, inventory and customer data into actionable recommendations to improve in-stock performance and profitability.

The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Replenishment, Marketing and Finance, plus the ability to quickly learn Walmart systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in customer planning, inventory management, demand planning, or forecasting at a CPG company.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations and drive profitable growth.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Retail Link data for planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial impact and trend identification.
• Evaluate top selling items using IRI data and identify item gaps and expansion opportunities at Walmart.
• Collaborate with Trade Marketing, Item Master Data, Marketing, and Sales Support to manage item configurations and price changes.
• Oversee new item setup and price change processes in Item 360 and related systems.
• Coordinate with Walmart Replenishment and Demand Planning to align forecast planning and inventory reviews.
• Apply data-driven analytics to improve forecast accuracy and in-stock performance.
• Develop and communicate forecast accuracy and in-stock metrics to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement tactics to reduce inventory issues and improve profitability.
• Maintain cross-functional relationships to support growth initiatives and data integrity.
