Job summary

Cencora is seeking an entry-to-mid level Customer Onboarding Specialist to support onboarding and implementation efforts in the US. You will coordinate kickoff activities, collect data and contracts, and ensure accurate entry into onboarding systems.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in onboarding or related roles, with strong communication and organizational skills, and an emphasis on compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in customer onboarding, customer operations, order management, implementation coordination, or a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate kickoff scheduling, environment readiness, and required access using approved playbooks and service catalogs.
• Collect and verify customer data, contracts, and technical prerequisites against onboarding checklists and policy thresholds.
• Enter account, entitlement, and configuration details in designated systems per work instructions and role-based permissions.
• Confirm completion of required documentation, approvals, and controls; escalate exceptions with clear notes and evidence.
• Correspond with customers using approved scripts to explain next steps, capture confirmations, and schedule milestones.
• Record onboarding progress, tickets, and artifacts to maintain traceable, audit-ready work products and handoffs.
• Report risks, blockers, and customer feedback promptly and propose minor improvements to templates or steps for review.
