Job summary

Lovesac is seeking a Sales Associate to connect with customers, demonstrate products, and guide them to the perfect furniture solutions in a fast-paced setting.

You will build relationships, own the customer journey, and drive sales while upholding Lovesac’s values and store standards in every interaction.

Experience in retail helps, but dedication to service, flexibility to work weekends, and the ability to move items up to 75 pounds will set you up for success.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role.
• Must regularly work during high‑traffic and peak selling periods, including weekends, holidays, and nights, to ensure you capitalize on demand, outperform goals, and maximize your earnings.
• Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems to enhance customer experience and drive future outreach.
• Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third‑party vendors and for occasional meetings using various forms of transportation.
• Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property. Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift. Must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position‑to‑position and be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor. This position regularly requires the following actions: bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, stooping, crawling, and climbing.

• Own your customer journey end-to-end, using curiosity and adaptability to uncover needs, deliver exceptional service, and build lasting client relationships.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge while creating a fun, engaging experience—delivering compelling brand tours, meaningful education, and confidently closing sales.
• Take ownership of your performance, operating with confidence, strong decision-making, and disciplined execution to consistently meet and exceed sales goals and KPIs.
• Represent Lovesac’s values by contributing to an inclusive, respectful environment for all customers and teammates where belonging is real, diverse perspectives are valued, and everyone can do their best work.
• Support daily store operations, opening/closing, inventory, visual standards, and promotions, while upholding brand standards and using store systems and data to prioritize work and drive efficient, customer-focused execution.
