Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Manager Customer Logistics in Dallas to oversee daily operations, drive customer service excellence, and manage a team. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective planning in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead exempt and non-exempt staff, coordinate scheduling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance goals. A strong MS Office skillset and logistics knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Two+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• One+ year direct supervisory/leadership experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required.
• Logistics industry knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of local and Federal regulations in customer and company context.
• Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components.
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations within the assigned function and lead a team of direct reports.
• Oversee customer service satisfaction and expectation management.
• Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Plan and schedule daily operations and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at state/local/federal levels.
