Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Georgetown, KY is seeking a Customer Logistics Supervisor to lead daily logistics operations, coach a frontline team, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

You will work with the Logistics Manager to plan processes, manage shifts, and meet KPIs. This exempt salaried role offers a $60,000 annual salary, regular hours, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED required.
• 0 to 1 year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• 1 year or more in experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee day-to-day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager.
• Establish schedules and coordinate workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI.
• Work with customer in all aspects of operations.
• Meet regularly with team members to monitor progress and coach.
• Promote diversity and inclusion and seek process improvements.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend merit increases.
• Address performance issues through disciplinary action.
• Implement health & safety and security initiatives.
• Provide orientation and tools for employees and Lead Hands.
