Afro Talentos, a fast-growing seed-stage AI startup in San Francisco, is hiring a Customer Implementation Lead to build and own the onboarding function from the ground up. This high-impact individual contributor role offers direct access to the founders as you scale the implementation process.

You'll lead end-to-end onboarding for B2B customers, coordinate scoping, training, and go-live, and partner with Product and Engineering to turn feedback into product improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in customer implementation or onboarding.
• Proven experience leading B2B SaaS onboarding projects.
• Experience training customers on software workflows.
• Ability to create repeatable onboarding processes from scratch.
• Strong communication, organization and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer onboarding journey from contract to adoption.
• Manage implementation projects including scoping, planning, training and go-live.
• Meet with customers to understand workflows and needs.
• Train end users to become confident users of the platform.
• Troubleshoot onboarding issues and serve as primary customer contact.
• Build repeatable onboarding processes and playbooks from scratch.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to turn feedback into improvements.
• Help establish the implementation function as an early team member.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role with direct access to the founders. The company has already secured hundreds of thousands of dollars in pilot revenue in recent weeks, and growing customer demand is creating an immediate need for someone who can scale the implementation process.

What you'll own

• Lead the end-to-end customer onboarding journey, from signed contract through successful adoption
• Manage implementation projects for B2B customers, including scoping, planning, training, and go-live
• Meet directly with customers to understand their workflows and implementation needs
• Train end users and help customers become confident, successful users of the platform
• Troubleshoot onboarding and implementation issues and act as a key customer point of contact
• Build repeatable onboarding processes and playbooks from scratch
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to turn customer feedback into product improvements
• Help establish the foundation of the company's implementation function as an early member of the team

What we're looking for

• 2–5 years of experience in customer implementation, onboarding, or a similar customer-facing role
• Strong B2B SaaS experience
• Proven experience managing customer onboarding or software implementation projects
• Experience training customers or end users on new software workflows
• Demonstrated ability to create repeatable processes from scratch
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
