Job summary

Kemps in St. Louis Park, MN is seeking a Customer Development Analyst. You will provide analytical support to the customer development and sales team by creating business reviews, scorecards, and category reports, plus space management for new items and seasonal initiatives.

You will update reviews, build insights from syndicated data, support reporting templates, and collaborate across departments to drive growth. This role offers competitive pay and extensive benefits with travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or related curriculum.
• 2 to 5 years of sales or business analysis, market research, or related experience.
• Experience working with syndicated market data sources such as Circana (IRI) or NielsenIQ is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, for a diverse range of internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support creation of retail sell sheets to aid in execution of sales initiatives and new item launches.
• Update business reviews and monthly volume scorecards for key accounts utilizing internal data warehouses.
• Support development of customer-facing insights, selling stories, and business recommendations utilizing syndicated, shopper, and internal data sources.
• Support syndicated database management through new item placement and on-going data validation.
• Collaborate with team members to develop consistent and sustainable reporting templates.
• Support retail merchandising and space planning initiatives as needed.
• Analyze business performance and identify opportunities, risks, and trends to support customer and category growth strategies.
• Develop clear, concise reporting and presentations that communicate business insights to internal and external stakeholders.
