Job summary

Altabank, a Division of Glacier Bank, seeks a Full-time Float Teller/New Accounts Representative for Salt Lake County branches. You will assist customers with friendly, accurate service, promote banking products, and handle transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and card services. The entry rate starts at $17.00+ per hour, with standard M-F hours and occasional Saturdays.

• High School Diploma required.
• Six months of similar or related experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with numbers and names.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and card-related tasks).
• Maintain and balance teller drawer daily within limits.
• Promote bank products and services based on customer needs.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate when needed; handle calls, wires, stop payments, and check orders.
• Open/close branch as scheduled.
• Comply with banking laws and training requirements.
• Participate in Summit Progression Program and adhere to Core Values.
• Maintain professional conduct and protect customer privacy.
• Provide excellent service to deepen customer relationships.
