Altabank, a division of Glacier Bank, is seeking a Full-time Float Teller/New Accounts Representative for Salt Lake County branches. You will assist customers with transactions, provide solution-based banking services, and ensure compliance with laws and training requirements.

The role emphasizes friendly service, account openings, and timely, accurate processing of deposits and related activities. Schedule includes weekdays with occasional Saturdays; entry rate starts at $17.00+ per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Six months of similar or related experience.
• Must be good with detail to work with numbers and names.
• Need excellent customer service skills.
• Employee must be capable of interacting calmly and professionally with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds.
• Employee must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
• Ability to adapt to change through time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, credit card payments, cashier's checks, fund transfers and sell gift cards.
• Maintain and balance cash or teller drawer daily, adhering to transaction limits.
• Become proficient in the Bank’s products and services to provide solution-based banking services.
• Resolve customer concerns within your authority and escalate when needed.
• Provide superior internal and external customer service and deepen relationships.
