Job summary

First Interstate Properties, Ltd. is seeking a Teller for our Red Oak, IA branch. The role handles daily teller transactions in both lobby and drive-up locations and delivers outstanding client service while developing client relationships and referrals.

The position requires strong math and communication skills, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information. Some cash handling experience is preferred, with opportunities to participate in team growth and community initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide client account services and process deposits/payments.
• Answer client questions in person and by phone.
• Process currency transactions and prepare reports.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer to bankers.
• Record activities and referrals in 360View.
• Process credit card applications.
• Handle special requests such as closing accounts, checks, currency exchange.
• Reconcile cash drawer and maintain cash supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with security procedures.
• Attend training to enhance knowledge.
• Support team and contribute to bank success.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and client-facing systems.
