Job summary

The Teller role at First Interstate’s Red Oak, IA branch handles daily teller transactions in both lobby and drive-up areas. You will deliver outstanding client service and develop relationships by identifying referral opportunities for additional products and other lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits and loan payments, cash checks, process savings withdrawals and cashier’s checks.
• Answer clients’ questions in person and over the telephone.
• Process additional transactions and prepare currency transaction reports.
• Identify basic cross-sell and referral opportunities and direct clients to a banker.
• Record activities, incidents, and referrals in 360View.
• Process consumer credit card applications.
• Handle special client requests and manage account changes.
• Maintain cash drawer and reconcile cash transactions.
