Job summary

ALDI USA in Sebring, FL is seeking a Store Associate to merchandise and stock products, cashier, and clean to keep the store looking its best. You’ll enhance the customer shopping experience by collaborating with the ALDI team and delivering exceptional service.

Position is full-time with 30+ hours per week. Starting wage is $19.00 per hour, with increases to $19.50, $20.00, and $21.00 over the coming years.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment and POS systems.
• Ability to interpret ALDI policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process purchases accurately.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required for efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly per merchandising planograms.
• Complete curbside pickup orders and deliver to customers’ vehicles as needed.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists management in achieving operational efficiency and loss reduction.
• Complies with company policies and maintains safe working environment.
