Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store associate to enhance the customer shopping experience through merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and diligent cleaning. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to maintain store standards and provide excellent service.

Starting wage is $19.00 per hour with scheduled increases through year 5, and full-time benefits including medical, vacation, and more. This on-site role emphasizes reliability, efficiency, and guest-focused operations.

Qualifications

• Promotes prompt, courteous customer service and adherence to procedures.
• Operates store equipment like POS, cash registers and cleaning devices.
• Follows ALDI policies and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing, with customers and team.
• Performs basic arithmetic for transactions and store operations.
• Follows instructions, pays attention to details, and stays productive.
• Works independently or with others to meet daily targets.
• Maintains reliable attendance and availability as required.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock products, cashier duties and maintain clean store.
• Provide exceptional customer service and escalate issues when needed.
• Use POS to scan items, process purchases and report scanning issues.
• Adhere to cash policies and open extra lanes to ensure smooth checkout.
• Stock shelves per planograms; complete curbside pickup orders accurately.
• Assist management in achieving efficiency and loss prevention goals.
• Follow safety and inventory procedures; maintain proper ergonomics and equipment care.
• Perform general cleaning per company standards.
