Job summary

The Larson Group Peterbilt is seeking an experienced Service Writer to join our dynamic team. You will greet and consult service customers about their problems, and assist in coordinating the service department as well as perform a variety of tasks with the warranty department.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to record and report technician time, schedule appointments, and support technicians with diagnoses and repairs.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Experience in a dealership service shop is preferred but not required.
• Ability to coordinate between service and warranty departments is important.

Responsibilities

• Open and close work orders with detailed information.
• Record, adjust and report technicians' time for work orders and payroll.
• Answer phone calls for the Service Department and assist customers.
• Resolve customer complaints and schedule appointments.
• Supervise technicians during diagnosis and repairs and assist with warranty paperwork.
