Job summary

TRI - County Ford in Mabank, TX is looking for a Service Advisor who greets customers, listens to their needs, and schedules appointments, while coordinating loaner cars and verifying insurance for maintenance.

You will report vehicle symptoms, prepare estimates, monitor progress, and explain charges to customers. Previous Ford dealership experience is a plus; strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with automobiles and strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to report vehicle symptoms clearly and accurately.
• Comfort with estimating costs for labor and parts.
• Willingness to learn new programs and dealership software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
• Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicle.
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
• Establish follow up time.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle and update customers frequently.
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers.
