Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Floor Associate in Jackson, TN. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store, assist customers with product location and checkout, and support merchandising and store readiness throughout your shift.

The role emphasizes friendly service, adherence to procedures, and safe, efficient front-end operations. Training will cover POS use, cash handling, and daily housekeeping in a fast-paced nonprofit retail

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail, customer service, or production experience preferred.
• Ability to follow established processes and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive shopper experience by maintaining a clean, organized store and greeting customers.
• Accurately process POS transactions with friendly, efficient service.
• Assist with merchandising, restocking, and product presentation to keep areas well organized.
• Support opening/closing tasks and basic backroom or operational duties as directed.
• Follow loss-prevention, pricing, and safety procedures during shifts.
