Job summary

The CITITRENDS Sales Associate role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining product knowledge, and creating a positive shopping experience. You will engage with customers, answer questions, process transactions, and follow company policies while sustaining a professional appearance and teamwork.

In-store duties include assisting with price changes, merchandising, restocking, balancing the register, and supporting loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Process freight.
• Assist with price changes/markdowns.
• Balance register according to company policy.
• Bag merchandise efficiently at checkout.
• Handle cash, checks and cards correctly per policy.
• Obtain management approval for returns/voids.
• Maintain store cleanliness and housekeeping duties.
• Provide customer service: greet customers, assist fitting rooms, ring up, thank customers and invite return.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Keep professional appearance and wear name tag.
• Assist with stock and merchandising on the sales floor.
• Explain exchange/refund policies.
• Support loss-prevention procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
