Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (add/subtract/multiply/divide/percentages).

Responsibilities

• Processes freight
• Assists with price changes/markdowns
• Balances register according to company policy
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer’s transaction
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy
• Obtains management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks
• Maintains and cleans work area as assigned
• Provides proper customer service: greet, help, fit policies, ring up, thank customers
• Follows all safety procedures
• Keeps a professional appearance with name tag
• Assists management in merchandising sales floor according to stock levels
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions
• Supports Loss Prevention procedures and reports incidents
• Performs other duties as assigned
